This is a two-color, paper-pieced block, a construction method that keeps sharp points and precise angles easier to manage than traditional piecing. Paper piecing works by stitching fabric directly onto a printed foundation pattern, then trimming away the excess, which trades a little extra prep time for very accurate results.
