This is a demanding paper-pieced design, built with acute triangles sharp enough that traditional rotary-cut piecing isn't practical, making paper piecing the only reliable way to keep the points crisp and accurate. The narrow angles leave little room for error, and even seasoned quilters tend to slow down for this one.
