About this block

This is a mosaic heart, built entirely from squares and half-square triangles on a 6×6 grid, no curves, no appliqué, just hst standing in for the shape. There are countless versions of this pattern across different grid sizes and color counts, which makes sense: quilters have so much love to give, it was bound to show up everywhere.
