A variation on the standard Snowball block, which clips all four corners with stitched-and-folded triangles, this version only snowballs two opposite corners, leaving the other two corners square. The result is a more directional, asymmetrical block than the traditional four-corner Snowball, useful for creating diagonal movement across a quilt top rather than the uniform, softened-square look of the full version.
