Creating a Real Quilt

I have spent the last six months deep in the code for this studio. I care about that work, and I am not done with it. But I needed to get away from the screen for a while and sew again.

So I am making a real quilt. The pattern came from CleverQuilts. The fabric is on my cutting mat. It feels good to be back at the machine after living so long in software. Watching something I designed in code turn into cloth is amazing in a way the computer never quite delivers.

Soon I want at least one gallery pattern that has a finished quilt behind it. Design it here, cut it and sew it, then put the physical quilt next to the digital pattern as proof that the whole path works. That is the proof of concept I am after.

The code can wait a little. I am sewing.
